Chronic pain can be incredibly disabling, whilst remaining invisible. Lack of understanding from friends, family, and even medical professionals, can further impact our mental and physical health. A feeling of isolation is common among chronic pain patients.

But you are not alone…

Liverpool PIPS is a peer-led support group. Whilst I have some medical training, my real experience is in having lived with chronic pain for over half of my life. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Hyper-Mobility, and Scoliosis. Upon completing several pain management courses, I found there was nowhere to go for support, at least not the support I felt I needed. So I set about creating this group. I may facilitate, but we all support each other here. By far the best therapy is being among others who understand exactly what you’re going through.
